William Terry Slacum, son of Barbara T. Slacum and Robert T. Slacum was born on December 14th 1954 in Fort Monroe, Viriginia. He was graced by the hands of God and taken under his wing on July 30th 2022.

Terry was employed by Germantown Academy for 42 years and enjoyed every moment of it. He was embraced and loved by his fellow coworkers and all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Terry loved anyone that wore a uniform, he respected them and loved what they stood for. He knew more about what was going on locally before the 6 o'clock news because he listened to his scanner religiously. Sports were the second love of his life. Whichever season it was, that would be his favorite Philadelphia sports team at the time. He also liked listening to music. He would listen to his Beatles CD's repeatedly while looking at his 3 Stooges and Star Wars magazines. He also was very fond of Pinball and all sorts of video games.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Barbara T. Slacum, his brothers, Robert Gary Slacum (Tracy) and Randal T. Slacum, his sister, Laura Ann Decker (Jimmy) 3 nephews, Brian J. Decker, Kevin Patrick Decker and Randal Joseph Slacum and one aunt, Dorothy Koenig, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, August 8, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 am., followed by services at 11:00 am., at the George Washington Memorial Park Chapel, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462. Interment to follow at the gravesite.
