Walter B. Sprague of Brownville Junction, Maine, formerly of Brooksville, Florida and Ardsley, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. He was 91 years old. Walter was born April 22, 1925 in Wickatunk, New Jersey, son of the late Wilbur Sprague and the late Mabel Black (nee - Smock). Loving husband of the late Beatrice (nee: Fay); beloved father of Phyllis (Gary Granese) Sprague, Brian Sprague, and the late W. Stephen Sprague; dear brother of Evelyn Shoemaker of Summerfield, Florida, Ruth Lewis of Frenchtown, New Jersey, and the late Frank Sprague; dear half-brother of Annette (Dixie) Phillips of Georgia; loving grandfather of Benjamin Sprague, Nick Granese and Katie Granese; loving great-grandfather of Camron Sprague and Delilah Granese.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 12:00 P.M. at the ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090 . His graveside service will follow at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001 www.hillsidecemeterypa.com .
