Vittorio DelBon of Willow Grove, PA, died peacefully at home, Saturday, September 28, 2013, with his loving wife, Margherita, of 49 years by his side. He was 83. Vittorio was born on October 26, 1929, in Paluzza, Italy. There he trained for a career as a cabinet maker. He served in the Italian military as an Alpino during the early 1950s. In 1960, he moved to Ontario, Canada, to work carpentry at the copper mine in Manitouwadge. He returned to Italy to marry the former Margherita Cortolezzis of Treppo Carnico, Italy, in 1964, where together they spent several more years in Canada until moving to Willow Grove in 1969. Vittorio worked in the field of carpentry and cabinet making until retiring in the late1980s. Family was the center of Vittorio's life. In addition to his wife, Margherita, Vittorio is survived by his daughter Anna DelBon Masucci and son-in-law Michael Masucci both of Grass Valley, California, and formerly of Willow Grove, grandchildren Victoria and Alexander both of California, brother Nino of Souderton, sisters Nives and Cecilia of Italy, and numerous loving in-laws, nieces and nephews in both the US and Europe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., Friday, October 4th, at Angelone Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA. followed by a funeral Mass at 12:30 pm., at St David Catholic Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove. Interment will be at Saint John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St David Catholic Church Choir, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, Pa 19090.
