Vincenza emigrated from Italy with her immediate family in 1950. After briefly living in Tarrytown, NY, she and her family moved to Germantown, PA, and was married at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in 1953. She moved to Horsham, PA in 1972 and joined St Catherine of Siena Parish. Her life was dedicated to her Roman Catholic faith and her family. Vincenza was known for her delicious meals and baking. She hosted annual holiday multi-course Italian meals for over 40 years, tirelessly preparing and cooking all the food herself, to feed her large extended family. Vincenza was also known for baking, often providing large trays of delicious cookies and pizzelles to her family, friends, neighbors, parish priests and religious sisters. Vincenza was very skilled at crochet and an avid vegetable and flower gardener, taking meticulous care of her home and garden.
Vincenza's entire life was an example of selfless dedication to her faith and family. Her greatest joys were attending Mass, feeding her family and friends, and attending family gatherings. Vincenza regularly attended 5PM Saturday Mass at St. Catherine's, her beloved parish church. She watched EWTN and prayed the rosary on a daily basis for many years. She was so happy to be able to watch the streamed masses from St Catherine's, seeing her beloved priests and fellow parishioners, and listening to the beautiful music and cantor's voices. She died while listening to a mass on EWTN, after hearing the rosary and a streamed mass from St Catherine's. Vincenza was well loved and will be deeply missed.
