Susan C.
Nordland
Jul 20, 1969 — Apr 24, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Susan Carol Nordland, who left us peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 56. She was at home, surrounded by the warmth of family and the love of those who held her dear, after a courageous four-year battle with multiple myeloma. Her final days were spent in the comfort of hospice care, where she faced her journey with resilience and grace. Born on July 20, 1969, in Glenside, Pennsylvania, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Pat and Paul Lange. Her life was a testament to kindness and compassion, qualities that she inherited from her parents and carried throughout her life. Susan was a proud graduate of Abington High School, where she built lasting friendships and began to lay the foundations of a life filled with love and dedication. Her career as a waitress at Michael's Family Restaurant was not just a job but a testament to her warm, caring nature. She treated every customer like family, spreading joy and kindness with every interaction. Her life was a tapestry of love and relationships. Susan is survived by her devoted companion, Steve Gerini, who stood by her side with unwavering support. Her siblings, Diane Lange, Michael Lange, and Christopher Lange, will forever cherish the memories of their shared childhood and the bond that only brothers and sisters can know. Susan was a devoted mother to her children, Michelle Nordland- whom cared for her until the end, Christopher Nordland, and Stephen Gerini. Her love for them was boundless, her pride in their accomplishments immeasurable. She also maintained a close and respectful relationship with her ex-husband, Darrell Nordland, a testament to her ability to nurture and maintain loving connections throughout her life. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her spirit lives on in the kindness she has shown, the love she has given, and the lives she has touched. Susan's legacy is one of love, strength, and kindness—a gift to all who knew her.
