Stewart C. Fentress, age 55, passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, November 5th, 2015. Stewart was born July 20th, 1960 in Washington, D.C. and later moved to Montgomery County, PA with his wife and children. Stew was the youngest son of Jesse and Jean Fentress of Maryland. He was a beloved brother to Murray, Shelle, and Leo. Stew leaves behind his beloved wife Donna Bauer Fentress and his children James, 30, Erica, 22, Joshua, 18 and Jesse, 18. Stew was a man of many talents. He was a well respected contractor owning Stewart Fentress, Inc. Unlike most, Stew loved getting up and going to work each day. He said he worked with his friends and made the most of every single day. Stew had a great love of music and was a talented guitar player. He entertained many from his days as a Madrigals singer at Bladensburg High to strumming with his family and good friends. Stew had a great love for all people and his peculiar sense of humor could put a smile on anyone's face even in their darkest hours. Stew's legacy is that he could walk into a room full of strangers and leave with a room full of friends. When he played, he played hard. When he loved, he loved even harder.
