Sophie Marie Volpe (nee: Benczak), age 88, of North Hills, passed away on March 14, 2025, at her Home. Sophie was born in Philadelphia on October 9, 1936; dear daughter of the late Albert Benczak and the late Sophie Benczak (nee: Kwartnik); beloved wife of the late Anthony "Sonny" Volpe; loving mother of Diane (James) Gregorie, Linda (Richard) Erbele, Victor "Butch" (Vicki) Volpe, and Anthony Volpe; dear sister of Janet (Steve) Bahniuk and Albert Benczak; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

At the family's request, services and interment will be private.
