Shirley A. Beahan of Roslyn, Pennsylvania Passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 92 years old. Shirley was born December 16, 1928 in Syracuse, New York, daughter of the late Michael Nolan and the late Beatrice Nolan (nee - Curtin). She is the beloved wife of the late Francis; loving mother of Dennis J., Daniel P. (Janice), Mary M. Nearpass, Eileen F. (Lester) Gutshall, Neil A., Michael F., Christopher J., and the late Brian J. (Christine); beloved grandmother of Maria, Matthew (Caitlyn), Kourtnay (Matt) Loughlin, Darian, Nicky, Devon (Weslee Champlin), Katie, Hannah, Reilly, Meghan, Jordan, Emily (Steve) Adsitt, Sean (Carolyn), Becky (Goran) Skinder, Ryan, Sean, and Brendan; great grandmother of Mackenzie, Ashlynn, Hunter, Quinn, Mason, Olivia, Benjamin, Mark, Addlyn, Jsamine, Weslee Jr., and Brooklyn.
Shirley taught private piano lessons to children and adults, directed the choirs at The Immaculate Conception (Jenkintown, PA) and St. John of the Cross (Roslyn, PA). She graduated valedictorian of her high school class at Tully Central and earned her 4-year degree in Music Education from the New York State Teachers College at Potsdam. She taught music appreciation at Manor Junior College, the same school where she was later honored for writing their Alma Mater
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.
