Ronald Murphy Jr. of Collegeville, Pennsylvania died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home. He was 50 years old. Ronald was born March 14, 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Ronald J.V. Murphy Sr. and Vivian Murphy (nee - Williams). He is the beloved husband of Tami (nee Morris) Murphy; loving father of Bianca and Jasmine Murphy; brother of Carmen Butler and her husband Kyle and Felice Murphy; uncle of Taylor Burrell; son in law of the late Gayle Watkins and the late Harry Morris.
Ron was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia where he attended St. Raymonds School, Bishop McDevitt High School, and Temple University. He was a conductor for Amtrak for 28 years. Ron met Tami through his best friend, since second grade, and her cousin Rodney "Chip" Brown. Ron loved the Philadelphia Eagles and the 76ers. He found great joy in singing especially to his beloved Tami.
