Pasquale J.
Bressi
Apr 23, 1936 — Apr 21, 2021
Pasquale "Pat" J. Bressi, formerly of Germantown, passed away on April 21, 2021, two days shy of his 85th Birthday, surrounded by his loving family; he was 84 years old. Pat was born on April 23, 1936 in the Germantown section of Phila; dear son of the late Vincent Bressi and the late Louise Bressi (nee: Casale); beloved husband of 60 years to Rosemarie (nee: Buongiorno); loving father of James (Jill) Bressi, Renae (Tim) Formica, and Paul (Mike) Bressi; dear brother of Janet (Raymond) DiFrancesco and Susan (Billy) Teufel; beloved grandfather of Vincent (Sarah), Nicholas, Michael, Dante, Marissa, Marco, and Jack; beloved great grandfather of George.
Pat was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and was always enthusiastic when telling stories about his time served overseas; stories about the amazing places he had been. After completing his service Pat discovered his true passion as a hairstylist and was known to many as "The Style Director of Juniata Park." He later opened another shop called 'Hair Above' located in Montgomeryville where he continued to style hair for his growing family, friends and many of the same customers he had been styling for decades. Styling hair was always something that Pat loved, but his true enjoyment came out of the relationships he harbored with each and every one of his customers, whom he considered more as good friends rather than clients. Pat was known for being extremely generous and was always quick to pay a compliment to whomever needed one and of course, was known for his creative one-liners. Pat was a successful businessman, but always said his true wealth laid within his relationships with family and friends, where he always p roclaimed himself a millionaire. Pat was an avid golfer who could usually be found hitting the links at Pinecrest Country Club with his buddies, some of which he had known since his childhood. In his later years Pat also enjoyed playing in a senior softball league. As much as Pat enjoyed playing sports he also enjoyed watching them. Pat was a devoted Philly sports fan, particularly of the Eagles and Phillies. He never missed a golf Major and also enjoyed attending the many local sporting events that his grandchildren and nephews participated in. Above all, Pat always considered his proudest accomplishment to be his family. When not 'snowbirding' in Florida during the cold northeast winters with his lovely wife Rose and friends, he was spending the large chunk of his time with his family, who he absolutely adored. Pat always said that while his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren lived on; those whom he referred to as 'his skin'; his spirit would remain forever. No one enjoyed a good gathering or party as much as Pat, so as he would often say, "Let the festivities begin."
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00 am., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am., at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454.
