Obituary

Nicholas Gabriel DiBucci, of Hatfield, formerly of Nicetown and West Oak Lane, passed away at home on October 27, 2014, at the age of 87; beloved husband of Mary (nee: Paneghello); loving father of Gabriel DiBucci, Mafalda (Edward) Dennett, and Dominic DiBucci; beloved grandfather of David, Tatiana, and Vanessa. Born at home in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia in 1926 to Gabriel and Mafalda (nee: Drigo) DiBucci, Nicholas was a World War Two era veteran, having served in the Philippine Islands. Nicholas became a union bricklayer, following in the footsteps of his stonemason grandfather Nicola and bricklayer father Gabriel. Enjoying the 55th year of marriage to Mary and spending time with his children and grandchildren, Nicholas was a well read man who could build or fix anything. Nicholas enjoyed making homemade pasta and wine and eating tomatoes and peppers from his vegetable garden. His passing leaves a tremendous void that can never be filled and Nicholas will be sorely missed by his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday morning starting at 11:00 am., at the Epiphany of our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park. There will be a viewing on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 am., at the church.
