Miriam Carbone of Abington, formerly of Germantown, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Abington Health Center Warminster Campus. She was 86 years old. Miriam was born August 26, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George Gates and the late Mabel Gates (nee - Sutcliff). She is the beloved wife of the late Vincent; loving mother of Vincent (Maureen) Carbone III and Joanne (Michael) Doherty; dear sister of Myrtle Karl, Betty Ann Levens, and Frank Gates; pre-deceased by 7 siblings; beloved grandmother of Maureen (Gene) Peddicord, Megan (Nick) Cosenza, Lauren (Rich) Cundari, Kim (Joseph) Gomez, and Jaclyn (Tom) Daniel; beloved great-grandmother of Nicholas, Luke, Giada, Isla, Nate, Drew, Vincent, Lana, and George.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Angelone Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Erwin Morrison.
