Mary (Erickson) Lentz, age 96, of Orwigsburg formally of Centre Square went home to the Lord on January 26, 2015. Wife of Elmer Lentz who died in 1993. Mary was born in Elkhart, Indiana to John George Erickson and Clara (Cleavand) Erickson and lovingly raised by her father and step mother Margart ( Hamand) Lentz. Mary was a homemaker for many years who was very involved in her church St. John's of Centre Square. She also was employed by the Wissahickon school district. She is survived by a son John E. Lentz, husband of Rita (Galante) of Bernville, Daughters, Betsy ( Lentz) Reed, wife of Barry Reed of Cape Coral Florida, Mary Kay ( Lentz) Buchanan, wife of Donald Buchanan of Bozeman, Montana, two sisters, Evelyn Reed of Newport Beach, California and Barbara Miller of Elkhart, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, and Great Grandmother of 13, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Steven Eric Lentz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Service on Friday starting at 11:30 am., at St. John Lutheran Church, 1802 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Interment St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 am., at the Church.
