Margaret Mary "Peg" DeMarco

Daughter of John Lukca and Mary Michlo

Peg was born in Lansford, Pennsylvania and moved to Northeast Philadelphia after graduation from Lansford High School. There she met and married Peter DeMarco in 1945. She resided in Philadelphia until they moved to Delray Beach, Florida in 1983. After Peter's passing, Peg moved to back to Pennsylvania in 2003.

Great nephews and nieces: Ryan, Zach, Megan, Anthony, Thomas, Lucy, Emma, JP, Sophia

Peg was a woman of strong faith and attended mass whenever possible. She was always involved with all the churches to which she belonged and prayed daily, keeping everyone in her prayers. Peg had special devotion to the Divine Mercy, Blessed Mother, and St. Anthony.

Peg enjoyed bingo and casino trips, frequenting local casinos, as well those in Florida, Las Vegas, and Biloxi before her move back to Pennsylvania.

Family and friends were her number one priority. She enjoyed engaging in conversation, whether it be about current events or reminiscing about the good old days. Peg especially loved the kids in the family, spoiling her youngest sister when she was little and continuing that tradition with her nephews, niece, and most recently her great nephews and nieces. Peg never missed an opportunity to babysit any of the kids and would enjoy just holding them for hours when they were infants. Her family truly was her pride and joy.

Peg's kind and generous spirit will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
