Marcia A. DeLong, age 75, passed away on October 04, 2022, at Peter Becker Community where she was a resident, surrounded by family. Marcia was born in Philadelphia on July 17, 1947 and was the daughter of the late William Teufel and the late Mary Teufel (Masten). Marcia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Rollin DeLong. She leaves behind her son Brian, his wife Lisa, and her beloved grandchildren Haley and Abby DeLong.

Marcia put family, friends and faith above all else and truly cherished family traditions and making memories with the many friends she made during her lifetime. The oldest of three siblings, Marcia developed a strong, protective personality and what she said always got done, quickly. Marcia and Rollin, her sister Mary (Lenny) Schwartz, and her brother Billy (Susan) Teufel instilled strong family values in their tightknit group of children, cousins, nieces and nephews, and grandsons and granddaughters.

Marcia also delighted in joining various groups in her community and places she lived including investment and travel clubs and managing a bocce league. She was an ardent Philadelphia sports fan, and a heck of a softball player in her youth. In her later years, Marcia poured her heart and soul into her grandchildren; she will always be with them, watching over and guiding them. She will be fiercely missed by her friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Roman Catholic Church at 1410 Almshouse Rd, Jamison, PA 18929; followed by her funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
