Loretta BRIGIDI Horowitz, passed away on June 4, 2023 at her sister's (Claudia) home in Longport, NJ, after losing a short battle with Leukemia. Loretta was born in Philadelphia on April 26, 1941 to Frank and Marian Brigidi. She was wife to Gary Horowitz, deceased. Loretta graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School. Loretta showcased her singing career with Claudia as the Brigidi "Bridgette Sisters" performing in South Philly, Wildwood, the Catskills in New York, Las Vegas, California, and Quebec City Canada. She then entered the Real Estate brokerage field and finally was the founder and operator of the first furniture consignment store of the Philadelphia region in Warminster, PA. Loretta retired to Palm City Florida and continued her interest in Composing on the piano. Loretta leaves behind her sister Claudia Smolda (Wayne), her brother Frank Brigidi Jr., and pre-deceased by her brother Richard Brigidi; her niece Debbie Melchiore (Jack), her nephew Frank Brigidi III (Mary), her nephew Anthony Brigidi (Karen), her Nephew Greg Brigidi (Stephanie), her niece Renee Smolda Berger (Gary), niece Adrienne Smolda Bosher (Al), nephew Stephen Smolda (Marika), nephew Vincent Brigidi, niece Alaina Brigidi, and niece Deanna Brigidi Stewart; and a stepdaughter Randy Steinberg (Steve). Loretta is remembered for her natural entertainment and musical passion and her devotion to serving others and her consummate kindness and attentive care to everyone she came to know. She will be missed dearly and remembered eternally by all who love her.
