Obituary

Kyle Dennis Cassidy, 20, of Abington, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Kyle was born October 27, 2000 and is the loving son of Amy (nee: O'Toole) and Brian Cassidy and amazing brother to Lily, Colin and Abby. Kyle attended Highland Elementary and Abington High School.

Grandson of Dennis and Joyce O'Toole and Thomas Cassidy and the late Karen Cassidy. Nephew to an amazing group of aunts and uncles. He was the cousin to Mary, Emily, Summer, Billy, Josie, Bailey, Maddie, Maya, Andrew, Annaliese, Declan, Jesse, Luke, Ella, Diana, Penny, Avery and Morgan.

He was a devoted brother who loved spending time with his parents, siblings and our large extended family. Kyle was the first to ask what the plans were for Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving or family birthdays. Kyle had a passion for the outdoors and helping others. His favorite times were spent on family vacations whether camping or at the shore. Kyle loved all sports, especially keeping up on every NBA and NFL team. He made great memories playing baseball for Abington-Roychester and basketball for GYAC for many years. Kyle loved his job at the Willow Grove YMCA and his weekends at the BSE Baseball Tournaments. His favorite times were playing basketball with his friends, driving his Pop's boat and spending time on the Chesapeake Bay. Kyle was the happiest playing video games with his friends, board games with his siblings, discussing and debating current events, life, philosophy and sports, and beating his dad at one-on-one.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Our Lady Help of Christians from 9am to 11am, followed by Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial services will be private.
