Josephine Barbuto of Woodlyn, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. She was 72 years old. Born July 19, 1948 in Cosenza Italy, immigrating to Buenos Aries, Argentina and then growing her family in Delaware County PA, she died peacefully at home surrounded by family. A devout Catholic and care giver, she dedicated her life to nurturing family, friends and strangers alike. Her love of God and her passion for caring for others was manifest and recognized during her 18 years of working at Divine Providence Village.

Dear daughter of the late Antonio Cosentino and the late Maria Cosentino (nee - Caparelli); beloved wife of the late Carmine; loving mother of Maria (Michael) Malone, Rocco Barbuto, and Christine (Sean) O'Hara; dear sister of Isabel Cerminara, Carlos Cosentino, and Lou Cosentino; beloved grandmother of Vincent, Dominic (Angel), Nicholas, Alex, Nathan, Michaela, and Chloe; beloved great-grandmother of Nicolas.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Katharine Drexel, 1920 Providence Avenue, Chester, PA 19013. Her graveside service will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 South Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
