Joseph A. Oliveri of Oreland, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Artman Lutheran Home. He was 87 years old. Joseph was born October 16, 1928 in Bronx, New York, son of the late Frank Oliveri and the late Lillian Oliveri (nee - DiDio). He is the loving husband of the late Angela (nee; Puglisi); loving father of Daniela (late Mario) Speca and Frank (Kathy) Oliveri; beloved grandfather of Nicholas, Victoria, Joseph, Olivia, Gabriella, and Gaetano; dear brother of the late Gaetano (Patsy) Oliveri.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Martyrs Church, 120 Allison Road, Oreland, PA 19075 www.holymartyrschurch.net. His graveside service will follow and military honors rendered by the United States Army will be at 12:30 P.M. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038 www.archphila-cemeteries.org/cemeteries/holysep.htm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 www.woundedwarriorproject.org or a charity of donor's choice.
