Joseph P. Dragone, 89, of Falcon Dr, Holland, PA, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, NY. He was born September 12, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Charles and Lucy Cesaro Dragone and received his education in local schools. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1943-46. On June 25, 1949, Joseph married Marion DiFrancesco in Germantown, PA. She predeceased him on March 26, 2009. Joseph was the owner of Evans Furniture, Inc. of Chestnut Hill PA until retiring in 1992. Joseph was a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Trevose, PA. Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Edward Dinski of Hamilton, NY; his grandchildren, Jeff (Katrina), Scott (Jill), and Mary Lee; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Gwendolen. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph; a sister, Mary Mitchell, and a brother, Charles. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Trevose, PA, followed by interment in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11am prior to the Mass.
