Joseph S. Casciato, age 89, of Roxborough, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away on November 25, 2025, at St. Joseph Villa in Flourtown. Joseph was born in Philadelphia on December 26, 1935; dear son of the late Rocco Casciato and the late Rose Casciato (nee: Bottaro); beloved husband of the late Rita (nee: Mellea); loving dad of Rocco Casciato, Elizabeth (Scott) Chilman, Stephanie (Joseph) Fittipaldi, and Joseph (Carol) Casciato; dear brother the late Rosemary (Frank) Manzo and Victoria Schmidt;  beloved Poppy Joe of Jennifer (Stephen) Rosenthal, Scott (Melissa) Chilman, Christopher (Dominque) Chilman, Joseph (Bella) Casciato, Jessica (Zachariah) Guadalupe, Joseph (Victoria) Fittipaldi, Alanna Casciato, and Sierra Palatino; beloved Bee Bop of Anna, Jack, and Shea Rosenthal, Cece and Emma Guadalupe, and Colton Casciato;

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Saturday morning (December 6, 2025) from 9:30 to 11:00 am., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am., at the Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA  19038. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
