He spent over twenty years of his life as a Philadelphia Mummer with the Fancy Brigade division "Top Hats". Everyone who knew Joey knew he would start every party or event with his Mummer strut. Joe played on a travel Baseball team as an adult until his mid 40's traveling between Philly and Jersey. Joe was a die hard Eagles Fan. He attended many travel games to Dallas, Tampa, and Washington. You name it and Joe was there. He aquired a saying for himself when he would travel with his daughter Nicole and their friends from the neighborhood, every Eagles game he would yell "Fire that mother up". The neighborhood quickly nicknamed him "The Mayor". He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be deeply missed by all.
