John Chromiak, age 64, of Willow Grove, formerly of the Logan section of Philadelphia, passed away on September 14, 2026, at the Fox Chase Cancer Center. John was born in Philadelphia on October 11, 1961.
Dear son of the late Michael Chromiak and the late Mary Chromiak (nee: Lazar); loving husband of Linda (nee: Pomfret); loving father of Jessica (William Jr.) Gass and Melissa (Bruce) Yhost; dear brother of Walter (Natalia) and Michael (Barbara) Chromiak; loving Pop Pop of William Gass III and Sophie Yhost.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 am., followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am., at the Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory can be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 189, Box Elder, SD 57719.
