Jean was born in Philadelphia on August 29, 1942; dear daughter of the late Richard Nelson and the late Irene Nelson (nee: Hefelfinger); beloved wife of Francis Braucci; loving mother of Francis Jr. (Sherry) and Richard (Christina) Braucci; beloved grandmother of Lacey (Erica) VanCheri, Francis III, Richard Jr., and Connor; beloved great-grandmother of Matteo; dear sister-in-law of Louis J. Braucci Jr. and Carmela LaRocco; also pre-deceased by her siblings.
