James J. McDonald, age 87, passed away on October 28, 2017; James was the Alumni Director for LaSalle University for 34 years, and an Abington Township Commissioner for 12 years; dear son of the late James A. and Elizabeth (nee; Ahearn); beloved husband of Barbara "Bonnie" (nee: Gross); loving father of James McDonald Jr., Leigh (Eric) Tobin, Barbara McDonald, and Theodore (Stacy) McDonald; dear brother of the late Dolores Lally and Elizabeth Fee; beloved grandfather of Katie and Sean Tobin, and Chase and Abigail McDonald. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm., at the
ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 501 Easton Rd. (Willow Grove, 215-659-0202)
. There will also be a viewing on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 am., at the Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave., Ardsley 19038, where his Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am.. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Phila, PA 19106, or the Delaware Valley veterans Home, 2701 Southampton Rd., Phila, PA 19154 or the Queen of Peace Church at the above address.
