James "Slippery" Mcclintock's Obituary
James P. "Slippery" McClintock of Willow Grove, formerly of Roslyn, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, September 6, 2016 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. Slippery was born August 25, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John Milford McClintock and the late Margaret Agnes McClintock (nee - Gormley). He is the beloved husband of the late Jean McClintock (nee: Pizzelli); loving father of Susan McClintock (Les Lurey), James McClintock (Sheila), Denise Rogers (Tim), Jeannie Driscoll (Edward), and Carol Pizzelli (Joe Ball). Also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Brother of Sue Curran, Catherine Bottone, Rose Maybo, Joan McClintock, Patricia Pollack, the late Edward and the late Theresa McClintock. A Teamster of Local 107 for many years, after retiring in 1979 his time and effort was focused on being an integral part of his grandchildren's lives. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. John of the Cross Church, 2741 Woodland Road, Roslyn, PA 19001 www.qofpeacechurch.org. His graveside service will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Lawrence F.
