Jacqueline "Red" Gravinese, a resident of Norristown, PA, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.

Jackie is survived by her beloved daughter; Gina Barra; her grandson who she adored and had a magical bond with, Matthew; and close family friends Daniela N. DelPrete and Andrew T. Henderson.

Jackie was born in Philadelphia, PA to Phyllis Casella and Anthony Gravinese. She graduated from John W. Hallahan High School and worked as an Intergovernmental Child Support coordinator for the County of Montgomery Domestic Relations Section for 33 years.

Jackie had a remarkable passion for life, had a huge heart and only wanted the simplest things in life. She greatly loved her family and friends and was proud to be part of Domestic Relations. Being a true Italian, she loved making sauce and meatballs and vacationing in Wildwood, NJ. It was quite apparent she had bad knees, but she blamed it on dancing to the oldies. Jackie loved going to the movies and especially watching old movies that featured Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Jackie especially enjoyed her time spent with her daughter shopping and getting pampered.

Mass will be held at Holy Saviour Parish, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401 on Friday, October 6, 2017. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. and will be immediately followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 a.m. Monsignor Charles L. Sangermano will officiate. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA. Angelone Funeral Home Inc., 501 N. Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA is handling the arrangements.
