Helen Katherine (Franklin) Pettit passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 85years of age. She was a resident of Willow Brooke Court (Brittany Pointe Estates) In Lansdale, PA for almost four years.

Helen lived in West Oak Lane in Philadelphia most of her life except for the past five years in Lansdale. She was educated at the Pennypacker Elementary School, the Wagner Jr. High School, and the Germantown High School. She was a parishioner of St Raymond of Penefort Catholic
Church on Vernon Road, Philadelphia where she did volunteer work.

She was devoted to her parents and was caregiver for several years until she and Tom Pettit married in 1982 at St. Raymond's Church. He was a postal worker. He took her for her first airplane trip to Disney World in Florida and they enjoyed many hours of fun with friends at the "Barley Bree" tavern and the "Austrian Village." Helen loved to dance and Tom was her willing partner.

Helen had many friends and a large family of nieces and nephews for whom she was a loving aunt from early childhood to their maturity. She will be missed by many.

Helen is survived by her brother, Harry and his wife, Louise, her niece, Catherine Brink, and nephews Christopher, David, and Jamie Franklin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:00 am., followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 am., at Saint Raymond of Penafort Church, 1350 Vernon Road, Philadelphia, PA  19150. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
