ELVIRA "MICKEY" CASCIANO (1925-2017)

Age 92, of Ft. Meyers Florida, previously Roslyn Pa, passed away on Tuesday September 5th, 2017.  Mickey, the daughter of the late Enrico and Josephine Dellaporte, was born and raised in Germantown, Pa, and was a graduate of Germantown High School.  She raised her family in Roslyn Pa and then later moved with her husband, Joseph to Fort Meyers Florida.  Mickey and Joseph spent 52 years together until his death in 1993.

Mickey took great joy in being involved with her large Italian family.  She was full of life, loving and energetic. She was a tireless worker who always did for others and showed this through her faith in the Catholic Church.  She loved her family and friends, and especially showed this love through her cooking for the family. Mickey played golf, was a shrewd pinochle player and could always be found playing bingo!  Mickey also loved the Jersey Shore- especially Atlantic City, the beach, the boardwalk and the casinos!

She is proceeded in death by her many brothers and sisters, one of seven, Josephine Sobel, Mary Bernardo, John Dellaporte, Susan Tozzi, Harry Dellaporte, Antonio Dellaporte and her granddaughter, Barbara "Missy" DiNatale.  Mickey is survived by her two daughters, Gracie DiNatale, (nee Casciano) and Barbara Casciano, along with her five grandchildren, Joseph (Nancy) DiNatale, John DiNatale, Debbie DiNatale, Danny Di Francesco and Chrissy DiFrancesco, four great grandchildren, Ciara DiNatale, Alexandra Grace DiNatale, Anthony DiNatale and Julian DiNatale.  She is also survived by over 30 nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am., followed by Catholic Service at 10:30 am., at the ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 501 Easton Road (Willow Grove, 215-659-0202). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
