Elaine M. Capozzi (nee Granieri), age 92 recently of Ambler, PA and formerly of Plymouth Meeting, PA, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 surrounded by her devoted family. Elaine was born in Philadelphia on April 13, 1933; dear daughter of the late Francis and Carmela Granieri (nee Scarpello). She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred C. Capozzi to whom she was married for 52 wonderful years. Elaine was the loving mother of six daughters -  Regina Braccischi (the late Raymond), Lisa Capozzi, Lori Craig (Frank), Della Payne (William), Nina Williamson (George) and Rita Capozzi. She was the cherished grandmother of Angela Gruters (Jeff), Frank Craig (Jennifer), Dana Kelhart (Jared), Matthew Williamson, Madeline Payne, Rachel Williamson, Michael Braccischi, Daniel Payne, and Jillian Williamson, and great-grandmother of Christopher, Isabel, Raegan, Peyton, Jackson, Jordyn and Emerson. She was the dear sister of Joseph (the late Sylvia), Donald (Carol), the late Francis (the late Angela), Stephen (Patricia) Granieri, and Carlene Federman (George), along with many nieces and nephews. Elaine was a tremendously giving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, affectionately known as Mom-Mom, who spent many hours singing her favorite songs, reciting nursery rhymes, playing games and dancing to the oldies. Her home was a haven to her many relatives, friends and neighbors who enjoyed countless meals and conversation around her table. Elaine was deeply faithful, praying the rosary daily and remembering many on her "prayer list." She was a graduate of Little Flower High School and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia. As a registered nurse, Elaine worked for a local family practice physician office part-time while raising her family, and then later at the Masonic Home in Lafayette Hill before her retirement. Elaine had a generous spirit and enjoyed volunteering in her community. She was a girl scout leader for each of her daughters and was also active in the ladies auxiliary at Harmonville Fire Company in Plymouth Meeting. She was adored by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing on Tuesday morning, December 30, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 am., followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am., at the Epiphany of our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
