Lostracco
Nov 19, 1929 — Jan 15, 2026
Domenico LoStracco, age 96, formerly of Ardsley, passed away on January 15, 2026, at Gloria Dei Personal Care in Hatboro.
Domenic LoStracco was born in Torre Dei Nolfi (Bugnara), Italy, on November 19, 1929. At the age of 18, he emigrated to the United States, arriving first at the port of New York before landing in Germantown, Philadelphia. He apprenticed as a stone mason and became a member of the Stone Masons Union and later the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 PA/DE. He married Maria Ventresca and built a home in Ardsley, Pennsylvania, in which he raised a family and lived for the remainder of his life. For over thirty years, Domenic worked for E.J. Conti Inc.; he was known for his assiduous work ethic and artisanal approach to masonry. Domenic was particularly proud of his work in churches, libraries, schools, buildings, and homes throughout the PA/NJ/DE region. He enjoyed country music, gardening, making wine, and meals with family. Although he always missed Italy, he was happy with his life in America. Domenic will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his hard work, character, and charming sense of humor.
Dear Son of the late Felice LoStracco and the late Bambina LoStracco (nee: Giammarco); beloved Husband of Maria (nee: Ventresca); Beloved Dad of Gino (Linda), Frank (Laura), and Joseph (Christine) LoStracco; dear Brother of the late Angelina Ventresca and Luigi LoStracco; beloved Pop Pop and Nonno of his Grandchildren, Michael (Julianna Fomenko) LoStracco, Maria (Marc) Barag, Frank (Nicole) LoStracco, Anthony LoStracco, Danielle LoStracco, and Julianna LoStracco, and his Great-Grandchildren Gianna, Matteo, Marc, Winona, and Sofia.
