Charles J. Fairburn, age 88, passed away on January 12, 2022. Charles was born in Philadelphia on October 31, 1933; dear son of the late Charles Fairburn and the late Ruth Fairburn (nee: Birbeck); beloved husband of Margaret (nee: Cantando); loving father of Charles, Bridget, and Kevin Fairburn; dear brother of Kenneth and Carol Fairburn; beloved grandfather of Gina (John) Jacob, Michelle (Chuck) Simmons, Kevin Fairburn Jr., and Samantha Fairburn; also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Charles was a retired Philadelphia Police Officer, a Korean War Veteran, an athlete, a great dad, and a friend to so many.
