Catherine "Cass"
Scilovati
Nov 1, 1940 — Sep 9, 2025
Catherine "Cass" C. Scilovati (84), of Erdenheim, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025.
She was born in Bellmawr, New Jersey on November 1, 1940, to the late William and Clara Bradley. On February 23, 1963, Catherine wed the love of her life, Joe Scilovati, with whom she shared many wonderful years until his death. She is survived by her two sisters-in-law Pam (Jerry) Ciaffone and Rosemarie Scilovati, her two children, Jeannine Solomon and Peter (Jane) Scilovati, her six grandchildren, Alyssa (Sean), Joseph (Sarah), Alec, Natalie, Luke, and Nick, her six great grandchildren, Harper, Stella, Lena, Max, Carmen, and Jemma, all of whom adored their loving "Mom-Mom".
Throughout her life, Cass built a strong work ethic and a reputation for dedication and reliability. Her exceptional math skills led her to bookkeeping roles at Campbell's Soup Company and Motson Graphics, where she was respected for both her skill and work ethic. In her later years, she proudly worked alongside her husband at JPS Construction, contributing to the family business with the same care and determination she brought to every part of her life.
However, her most cherished role was the one she lived every day with her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and great aunt. She cherished every moment spent with her family finding joy and comfort in their laughter, love, and togetherness. Cass enjoyed spending winters with her husband in Florida. She was known for her incredible meals; meatballs and salad were her specialty, which brought her family and friends together around the table.
Cass found joy in life's simple pleasures and in the hobbies that filled her days with laughter and meaning. She was a devoted Philadelphia Phillies fan, cheering them on season after season. Her shore home in Brigantine, NJ, was her happy place, where she loved spending time with family and friends. Cass had a spirit of adventure, enjoying traveling, fishing, and she was always ready to hit the dance floor. She enjoyed the company of her dear lifelong friends, the "Club Girls." Cass adored animals, especially her dog, Riley. In the evenings, Cass could always be found watching a lifetime movie and faithfully tuning in to Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. These passions reflected her fun-loving nature and the joy she carried into every moment. She will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her.
