Carmela H. Jannetti (nee: Trongo), age 93, passed away on January 22, 2022, at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington; Carmela was born in Philadelphia on January 28, 1928.

Carmella lived a wonderful life caring for her family and working as a baker. She had a heart of gold and would never let you leave the house hungry. She made the best sauce around even a little better than her bother John's. But better than sauce her chicken cutlets where hands down an award winner. They wouldn't last more than a few hours. She loved baking cookies for the holidays for her family to enjoy. Anyone who knows Carmella can picture her with lottery tickets and a cigarette in hand along with a glass of wine/baileys depending on the seasons. She always cared for everyone in her life before herself. She was the queen of worry warts and instilled that in her family. She would never say goodbye, always say so long. She felt goodbyes were to permanent and could be a jinx. She will be forever remembered by the people who had the blessing to know her and will forever be missed.

Dear daughter of the late Pasquale Trongo and the late Anna Trongo (nee: Mignone); beloved wife of the late Gabriel; loving mother of John (Randi), Janet, and the late Gabriel Jr.; dear sister of Patsy (late Vicki) Trongo, and the late Rita Retano and John Trongo; beloved grandmother of Ashley Jannetti, Brian, Jennifer, and Holly Brown, Justin and David Crean, and Hillary Peiffer.; also survived by her great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 9:00 am. to 10:30 am., followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 am., at St. David Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA  19090. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
