Blase C. Cinque, age 88, of Chalfont, formerly of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at his home. Blase was born in Philadelphia on October 5, 1932; dear son of the late Biagio Cinque and the late rose Cinque (nee: Clausi); beloved husband of 68 years to Patricia (nee: Shaw); loving father of Pat (George) Klinger, Susan (Nick) Simonetti, Maureen (Joe) Pellecchia, Blase Cinque, and Rochelle (T.J.) Scott; pre-deceased by 8 siblings; beloved grandfather of Kelly (Jim) Asher, Kevin (Melissa) Klinger, Kate (Dyer) Huynh, Sarah Simonetti, Leanna (Donald) Townsend, J.R. (Jessica) Piotrowski, Joey (Stephanie) Pellecchia, Ben Pellecchia, Andrew Waldner, and Jacob Waldner; also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

Blase was born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. He was a retired Tool and Dye maker where he worked at SKF for 30+ years. While living in Northeast Philadelphia Blase became a committeeman and was involved in politics for many years; he was a volunteer at St. Timothy's Church in Northeast Philadelphia; he loved singing in the Choir at Mater Dolorosa Church and Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church. Some of his favorite past times were watching baseball (especially the Phillies) and he loved to play poker.
