Barbara Ann Richino, 72, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 29th.

She is survived by her Sisters , Beth Richino and Lisa Settembrino, her brother, Nicholas (Mary) and sister-in-law, Marty.  She will be deeply missed by her neice Angelina Kitchen (Chris) and her great nephews, Frank and Dominic. Other beloved family include her neices Beth Nichols (David), Cheryl Flavin (Tom), Brittany McAfee (John), and Nephew Michael (Diane). She dearly loved her great neices and nephews; Lauren, Brenda, Thomas, John, Daniel, Talia, Michael, Brianna, Rose and Nicholas.   She is preceeded in death by her Mother Angelina and Father Michael, as well as her brother Michael, Nephew Nicholas and Frank Digiovanni (my Frankie).

Babs (bad ass Barbara), as her neice liked to call her, touched the lives of everyone she met; from the waitress at a resturant to strangers she met in passing. She was crazy, loving, fun, passionate and loyal to a fault. She was full of personality, and always taught those around her to never take life too seriously, to show the world what you are made of and to give it hell.  She taught her family the value of taking care of the people you love, being there for others and always believing in yourself. She proved that nothing can slow you down unless you let it. Having babs in your life was like being dealt a Royal Flush. Up until she took her las breath on this earth she put her loved ones before herself.

Barbara's wishes were to be cremated, there will be a memorial, no time and date has been set. Babs was a fighter and would value if you could help others in their fight by making contributions in her honor to the American Lung Association and the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
