Augustine "Augie" Gisondi, Jr.'s Obituary
Augustine "Augie" Gisondi Jr., age 77, of Warrington, formerly of Bensalem, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Augie was born in Philadelphia. He retired from Septa as a Resource Controller. Augie loved spending time with his family and adored his wife for over 50 years, he enjoyed watching the Philadelphia sports teams, going the Casino, horse racing, and had a love for music.
Dear son of the late Augustine Gisondi Sr. and the late Agnes Gisondi (nee: Ryan); beloved husband of Janet (nee: Iredale); loving father of Christine (Joseph) Gisondi and Lisa (Michael) Fortunato; Loving brother to Jennie (late Gerry) Adasavage, Anthony Gisondi, and the late Philip (late Deborah) Gisondi; loving grandfather of Courtney (Colin) Hartmann, Samantha O'Mara, David Fortunato, and Michael Fortunato; loving great-grandfather of Luca and Cole Hartmann; and a dear uncle to Steven and Robyn Doughty and is also survived by many nieces and nephews he loved dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 9:00 to 11:00 am., followed by Catholic Services at 11:00 am. at ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090 .
No Interment. Military Honors will take place at the funeral home immediately following the services.
