Obituary

Antonio Manna of Barto, PA, passes away peacefully, November 28, 2016. He was 76. Tony was born January 10, 1940 in the Italian village of Bugnara. He immigrated here in 1958. He believed America was the land of opportunity and never wavered from that belief. After a short stint as a machinist he joined the family business as a heavy equipment operator and retired in 2002. He was a proud member of Local 542. He was an incredibly hard worker, and an accomplished handyman who would take on any challenge. "If man designed it, I can figure it out". Throughout his life, Tony enjoyed his vegetable garden and his homemade wine, both of which supplied the neighborhood,  but his biggest enjoyment came from spending time with his grandchildren, friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Gilda (nee: Ventresca); his sons Anthony (Elizabeth) and Steven (Andrea) Manna; his grandchildren  Lauren, Nicholas, Abby, and Christian; his sister Maria Altopiedi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday morning starting at 11:00 am., at St. Joseph's Church, corner of Easton Rd. & County Line Rd., Warrington. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park. There will be a viewing on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 am., at the Church.
