Anthony "Tony" Mallozzi of Sellersville passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Grandview Hospital. He was 78 Years Old. He was born to the late John and Palma (nee: Trunk) Mallozzi on October 2, 1941, in Ambler.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Barbara, daughter Michele Roman (Andy), step-daughter Kristy Stachel (Shawn) and daughter-in-law Shelly Mallozzi. He was the adoring Pop Pop to Jackson, Delanie, Brie, Alexa, Drew, Mina, and Jack. Dear brother of Joe (Maureen), John (late Theresa), and the late David. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Anthony Mallozzi.
Before he retired, Tony worked for PECO for 34 years. He was a lifetime member of the Fort Washington Fire Company where he held various positions, including President. For many years he was the owner of Wales Junction bar and restaurant in North Wales. He was a passionate Eagles fan and was ecstatic when they finally won the Superbowl. He was also a proud veteran of the US Navy.
Tony was a kind, understanding, unselfish man who was always ready to help at a moment's notice. He had a smile and a joke for everyone. For the past 4 ½ years he was president of the HOA at Village of Rosecliff where he resided.
Anyone wanting to make a donation in his memory should do so to the charity of their choice.
At present, no service is planned, but a Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date.
