Angela DeMaio of Sellersville, PA., age 67, died peacefully surrounded by family after a difficult battle with pancreatic cancer on August 10, 2024.
Angela was born in Philadelphia on July 10, 1957: dear daughter to the late Vincent N. Colaiacovo and the late Josephine Colaiacovo (nee: Iannacci).
Angela is survived by her beloved husband, Carlo DeMaio.
They were loving, devoted and inseparable for a wonderful 49 years. Angela and Carlo had three beautiful girls, Maria (Michael) Porreca, Bettina DeMaio, and Carla (Peter) Anderson.
Angela's children were her most cherished blessings, along with her dog, Harley. Angela was a loving and fun "Gammy" to 11 grandchildren, James (Amanda) and Alexia (Zachery) Masny, Dominic, Michael, and Anthony John Porreca, Eric (Liliana), Isabella, and Bianca DeFeo, Gianna, Sophia, and Carlo Anderson. Along with, her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, and soon to be Valentina Angela.
Angela spent most of her career in Retail Management and was a mentor to many. She most treasured her special times cooking and entertaining for family and friends. Her famous family recipes were enjoyed by many and will live on through her daughters.
Angela especially enjoyed traveling, so much so, that she became a travel agent. She took special pride in helping her friends and family plan their perfect vacation and personal events at the most beautiful destinations. Angela and Carlo were also blessed to be able to spend much time at her cousins' beach house, also known as, "Angela's Happy Place" enjoying memorable times with family and friends.
Angela will always be remembered fondly by all those that knew her as fun, crazy, loyal, loving, and the strongest person they ever met.
Angela is predeceased by her dear brother Vincent M. Colaiacovo and dear sister Catherine (nee: Colaiacovo) Reale. She is survived by her beloved sister, Michele (Thomas) Leary, dear Aunt Joan (John) Iannacci, and several beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.,at the ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. There will also be a viewing on Friday morning at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927, from 9:00 to 11:00 am., followed by Angela's Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.
