Alfred R. DiDonato of Roslyn, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 91 years old. He was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. Alfred was born June 2, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Alfonso DiDonato and the late Josephine DiDonato (nee - Lucinetti). He is the loving husband of the late Mary (nee: Antonuzzi); beloved father of John (Liz), Vincent (Kim), Joanne (James) Bottone, and Rick (Barb); dear brother of Alfonso DiDonato, Dina Cerrato, Carmela Joyce, and the late John DiDonato and Angelina Miletto; beloved grandfather of Chris (Tracy), Gabe (Susan), Paul, Leah (Tim), Vincent, Frank, Ricky Jr., Mark, Danny, and the late Michael; beloved great-grandfather of Addison, Julian, Lillian, and Sophia.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at ANGELONE FUNERAL HOME , 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Relatives and friends are also invited to his His viewing on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038 www.qofpeacechurch.org. His entombment will follow and military honors rendered by the United States Navy will be at 12:00 P.M. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 www.whitemarshmemorialpark.com.
